How do I get rid of the cooked food smell in my microwave (already tried many cleaners with deodorizers)?

wash the inside with lemon juice and then a mixture of baking soda and water. 1/4 cup soda to 3 cups water and then wipe with clear water

How do I get rid of the cooked food smell in my microwave (already tried many cleaners with deodorizers)?
baking soda...(when your not using it of course)
Reply:Immediately after using, keep it open, for atleast 10 minutes.

Reply:If the smell is baked into the plastic only option may be to get a new one. Remember with the new one to clean after every use and cover all food for better longevity.
Reply:You can get a small bowl of water and add to it a cinnamon stick or some ground cinnamon, cloves, whole or whatnot. You can use almost any sweet smelling herb you have in your spice cabinet. Microwave on high for 5 minutes, let stand for another 10 minutes and then wipe the inside clean. The moisture from the water makes everything inside the oven soft, and the herb makes it smell good. Good luck and be careful with the hot water.

Reply:Fill a glass of soapy water, put it in there for 5 minutes or so (this will create steam) cleaning will be easier-releasing any stubborn food stains.
