I'd like to make my own fabric deodorizer please.?

I%26#039;m wanting to make a deodorizer that I can spray onto my fabric lounge suite and curtains etc to neutralize cigarette smoke smells.

I fill a spray container with water and add two or three drops of clear baking vanilla - more or less depending on the scent you like (test this for staining on a small area of the fabric BEFORE you spray)





I also saturate cottonballs with the same clear baking vanilla and place them around the room.





that being said; one redi made container of spray specifically made for deodorizing fabric can be made into 4 bottles which are be just as effective at killing odors by adding 1 part fabric spray to 3 parts distilled water.
Reply:Fill an empty spray bottle with water and two or three table spoons of downey fabric softner. Mix or shake well and spray on desired area. Febreeze works great too. Taking down and machine washing curtains every 3 or 4 weeks helps also. Hope this helps
